Does my insurance cover acupuncture?

More and more health insurance plans are beginning to provide acupuncture benefits.  If you have health insurance, we will gladly verify your benefits and let you know the expected copay or coinsurance before your visit.

While Wellbridge Acupuncture's providers are in network with many insurance plans, not all plans cover acupuncture. The only way to know for sure is to contact your plan or to use our benefits verification tool

There is no charge for using our benefits verification tool, and we will not keep your insurance information on file if you do not choose to book an appointment.

Will you bill my insurance?

We are in network with BCBS and United Healthcare.   Through a special agreement, we are able to offer a discount to Aetna and Cigna members.  We will bill your insurance as a courtesy if we determine you have coverage for acupuncture. 

What if I have Medicare or Medicaid?

At this time, Medicare and Medicaid programs do not cover acupuncture services. 

Do you accept VA patients?

We are pleased to participate with the Veterans Choice Program, which is open to participating veterans. To learn more about the program and check your eligibility, check out the Veterans Choice Program page on the VA website.

Do you bill auto insurance?

We can bill auto insurance if you have an active personal injury protection (PIP) claim.

What if I don't have insurance coverage?

Contact us for more information. Our prices are competitive and affordable.

How do I pay for acupuncture services?

We accept all major credit cards and cash.  Personal checks are accepted for established patients only.

When do I pay?

Any amounts you are responsible for, including copays, deductibles, or coinsurance, are due at the time of service.  We can email you a receipt that you may use for tax or HSA purposes.
